What is 30bis and why is it important?

If your subcontractor has debts with NSSO or tax authorities, you must withhold part of their invoice (30bis). Do you not do this? Then you are liable AND you get fines. We check this automatically for every invoice.

When do I pay 6% VAT and when 21%?

For renovations of old homes, 6% VAT sometimes applies. But there are many conditions: who buys, how big, what kind of heating. And since 2025 this has changed. We advise per project what is applicable.

Is my diesel van still allowed in Ghent?

Accepted Answer

That depends on the type. Old diesels are no longer allowed in the center. You can buy day passes, but that becomes expensive. From 2026 electric becomes more interesting. We calculate what is cheaper for you.

Question 4

What is different about wages in construction?

Accepted Answer

In construction special rules apply: extra allowance for bad weather, a year-end bonus that runs via a fund, and travel costs to the site. A normal accountant often doesn't know this. We are specialized.

How do I know which sites make a profit?

Accepted Answer

We link your software (Bouwsoft, Teamleader or others) to the accounting. This way you see per site: budget vs. real costs = profit margin. Many contractors don't know this and work for nothing.

Question 6

What are Dimona and Checkinatwork?

Accepted Answer

Dimona = declaration when someone starts or stops working. Checkinatwork = registration who is on the site. These must be correct! If someone is checked in on the site but their Dimona is on 'unemployed', you get an inspection. We monitor this.
